Thanks for sharing!

I can resonate with this, though in my most recent case it was someone telling me my writing was a waste of time. Took me three months to get back from that.

Happy to hear you're finding ways to make progress again! (I especially like the 10min rule, as I've found that in my own writing as well.

The other thing that's helped me is music as a cue and a way to quiet the voices in my head telling me I suck or my writing sucks. It's a daily struggle, but as you have shown, it is a winnable one!

Writing is never a waste of time. What a terrible thing to say to someone!

Haha yeah. But I use it as fuel for the "I'll prove you wrong" Warrior Spirit I have haha.

Wonderful advice to share! Baby steps, Bob! That’s what I like to say to myself…write on! 😆🙌✨

I came from the víral post of great sales you made on your book. Congratulations! Thank you so much for sharing this. I battled with writers block when I was asked to feature in a book for the first time.

The crazy thing is that I was asked to write on women's health and it's so ironic that I struggled because it's something I'm very passionate about. I love educating people on women's health.

But for some reasons which I just figured out through your post at that it was fear paralysing and holding me back, I couldn't write. I had imposter syndrome and I doubted myself so much.

It didn't help that I was getting pressure from the main author, all these while preparing for a major exam.

I even did it anyways. And whether I gave it my very best or if I could have done better if I had more time and more conducive mental state. I guess I'd never know.

I'm not sure the book made 50+ sales but I'm glad I did it anyways. I have my name featured in a book!

And see someday soon, just like you I'm going to publish my very own!

Thank you ❤️

Thanks for sharing.

A writer's spirit is not in the hands or fingers, it is right in the mind, the heart.
